SEWER FLUSHER/HYDROVAC OPERATOR

As an innovative supplier/contractor, IVIS Construction Inc. is looking to hire individuals who share
our passion and commitment to deliver the most trusted and valued solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities:

● Drive and operate equipment in a safe and effective manner

● Heavy equipment may include Combo Units, HVAC Units, Flusher Units and/or Tractor Trailers

● Normal expectations with respect to hours of work (report for duty on time, fit for work, etc.)

● Clean and perform preventative maintenance on the trucks and auxiliary equipment they use

● Perform all requirements associated with driving CVOR vehicles (pre-trip inspections, daily logs, follow hours of work regulations, etc.)

● Perform manual labour duties associated with operating the heavy equipment and CIPP
liner installation

Requirements:

● Valid DZ or AZ license
● Clean driving record (Abstract needed)
● Values safe work practices and holds others accountable to work in a safe manner
● Hard-working, team player attitude with good attention to detail and excellent customer services skills
● Ability to work within confined spaces
● Available for on-call work
● Willingness to work occasional evenings, nights, and weekends
● Capable of driving a vehicle with a manual transmission (10+ gears)
● Capable of obtaining a government security clearance (Reliability or Secret) is an asset

GENERAL LABOURS

IVIS Construction Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and energetic general labourers.

Job Duties and Expectations

● Operate company crew truck for travel to and from work sites.
● Operate ancillary equipment on work sites such as Flushing truck, hydrovac or CCTV Unit.
● Load and unload materials.
● Lay-out safety equipment and assist Operators in inspection and flushing operations.
● Signal operators to guide them in moving equipment.
● Assist operator to secure attachments to equipment.
● Practice proper, legal load securement always.
● Assist operator with proper daily care and maintenance of equipment
● Participate in safety meetings.
● Adhere to all policies and instructions provided in IVIS Construction Inc. Operating Manuals and standard work procedures.
● Maintain a positive public image of the company with appropriate personal conduct and by operating company vehicles and equipment in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.

Minimum Qualifications

● CLASS 5 Drivers License or higher
● The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate swamping experience in any of the following professions or similar industries:
● CCTV Operation, High Pressure Flusher/hydrovac Operations
● CSTS (Construction Safety Training), First Aid, Confined Space, TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) safety certifications an asset.
● Punctual and reliable to meet work schedule needs.
● Ability to work out of town, if required.
● Ability to pass a drug test.
● Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned.
● Proficient spoken and written English.
