Job Description |

The Swamper will be responsible to aid operators and technicians
with various duties and prepare work site to aid in the completion of
assigned work.
|
|
Typical Duties |
|
|
- Assist operator/technician with all assigned tasks and prep work
necessary (including pipe inspections, locating, hydrovac and flushing)
- Foster a cooperative and positive work environment for operator/technicians
- Aid in problem solving when necessary.
- Provide excellent standards of customer service.
- Conduct pre and post trip inspections, hazards assessments, and
equipment checks and report all deficiencies to supervisors immediately.
- General housekeeping of tools, vehicles and work sites.
- Communicate equipment deficiencies and/or needs to operator/technician that will make role more efficient or effective.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities |

- Self starter
- Plan and work safely
- Ability to follow instructions
- Mechanically inclinedClean Class 5 operators license
|
|
Training and Expertise |
|
|
- Grade 12 Diploma
- Construction Safety Training System
- Experience in Construction Industry an asset.
