Since 1996, IVIS Inc. has offered a comprehensive list of services for your underground infrastructure.  We can identify any sewer problem, large or small, and provide cost effective solutions that are done right the first time around.  We can assist residential, industrial or commercial clients with emergency situations such as blockages, back ups, slow flowing drains or gurgling toilets.  We can assist with locating your secondary utility lines past the meter and can assist with your infrastructure maintenance needs.

Sewer Services Overview

Residential CCTV Inspection
  • We offer CCTV inspection services for residential, commercial and industrial clients on 1 1/2" - 6" pipe diameters.  This service is recommended for residential home inspections, maintenance inspections, to trouble shoot for problem causes and to inspect new pipe construction prior to the concrete slab being installed.
  • We also complete conduit inspections and can locate line runs/tie ins and pin point problem locations (i.e. locations of line sags, cracks, blockages, roots, etc...) 

 

Line Flushing/Cleaning
  • We provide our residential, commercial and industrial clients with line flushing and cleaning services on 2 1/2" to 6" pipe diameters.  Our heated, pressurized water is capable of removing the toughest deposits of grease, build ups and obstructions.
  • We also offer residential, commercial and industrial high rise stack flushing and can take care of your utility conduit cleaning by removing debris and ice (in winter months).

 

Root Removal/ Augering/Snaking
  • Our highly trained Service Technicians are also skilled in the removal of roots, tough clogs and other blockages through techniques such as snaking and augering. 

 

Mandrel Test
  • We can perform pipe deflection and pipe diameter testing of PVC, High Density PE, Ultra-Rib™ and other Sanitary Sewer Pipes that utilizes the Mandrel Method best practices.

 

Other Common Sewer & Utility Services We Perform
  • Garbage chute cleaning
  • Steaming of potable water lines
  • Thawing of 4" conduit from a single access point to distances up to 700m of straight pipe.

 

Underground Cable & Secondary Utility Locating

  • New construction, trenching or completing infrastruture work?  We can help by providing you with the confidence and peace of mind you need to safely get your work done.  IVIS Inc. Service Technicians will come to your property to locate your secondary utility lines such as telephone, gas and power that are "past the meter". We can locate sanitary and storm sewer lines (on both public and private property from manhole to manhole) through camera and Sonde locating techniques.  We can also locate fibre optic lines that have a trace wire or full metal jacket casing.  Remember it is the responsibility of the digger to have the dig area properly inspected and ensure underground utilities are not damaged.
