Journeyman/woman Heavy Duty Mechanic

Job Definition

Heavy Duty Mechanics are needed to join this fast growing company in North West Edmonton. In this role technicians will be performing service and general maintenance repairs to a fleet of Trucks, Truck-mounted equipment, Utility Trailers and other equipment.

Should be experienced with troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems.
Some knowledge with engine, clutch, transmission, suspension, rear drive axles, air and hyd. brake systems and electronics is required.
Knowledge of hydraulic, water pumps (large and small pressure pumps) and positive displacement vac systems would be a definite asset.
Assisting with the training and guidance of Apprentices is also required.

The ideal candidate will be a Journeyman Licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic with CVIP capabilities. Should be organized, have a keen eye, think/look outside the box and able to handle multiple tasks at times. May have to perform other general duties as required.

Compensation & Shifts

$32.00-$38.00/ hour + benefits & profit sharing.
Mon. to Fri. Dayshift – some Saturdays and overtime.
