High Pressure Flushing

All of our units are capable of both high and low pressure sewer line

cleaning - our trucks can jet 55 GPM of water at 2000 - 3000 PSI.  We can flush sanitary and storm collection systems from 4 inch diameter pipe and larger.  Our flushing services are ideal for problems or maintenance issues, Contractor's Completion Certificates and Final Acceptance Certificates. 

 

Hydro Excavation Services

Hydro excavation is the process of removing or moving solids with pressurized water.  It is a non-destructive, accurate way to excavate soil, trench or locate underground utilities.  Hydro excavation methods provide for better damage and safety control when compared with more conventional mechanical methods.  Hydro excavation is recommended for situations where there is danger of damaging underground cables, utilities or pipes.  This approach drastically decreases cost overruns by eliminating accidental line breakage, unexpected utility relocations, and environmental cleanup.  It also offers the benefit of faster turn around times for excavation jobs.

 

IVIS Inc. Vac-Con® Combo units are equipped to take on any hydro excavating job.  Our trucks have vacuum suction that transfer the slurry (which is created from breaking up the ground with pressurized water) into a debris holding tank.  All of our units are capable of drawing solids, semi-solids and liquids - which means we can hydro excavate most ground conditions.  All units have large volume water storage tanks and are equiped with enclosed boiler systems, that heat the pressurized water used in hydro excavating. Because we use heated, pressurized water, IVIS Inc. operators are capable of working in cold, winter weather and can excavate frozen ground conditions. Our hydro excavation services are ideal for accurate trenching, providing an alternative when hand digging is recommended and when minimizing ground distrubance is a concern (IVIS Inc. can excavate diameters as small as 8 inches).  We can also thaw frozen lines, manholes, culverts and catch basins using our heated, pressurized water wands.  

 

Vacuum Services

IVIS Inc. also provides Straight Vacuum Truck services for our clients.  We can vacuum out sumps, septics tanks and manholes.  We do not vacuum or clean hazardous waste materials.  Feel free to call our office to find out more information about our vacuum truck services.

 

Hi-Rail ServiceIVIS Inc. operates a fleet of hi-rail capable hydro excavating/flusher trucks and video inspection units. We can service remote utility locations via rail without having to use hundreds of feet of hose from a distant road access.  With our hi-rail trucks we can steam frozen culverts and remove a variety of debris from locations not commonly accessible by regular flusher trucks. We service LRT locations and access points located within various rail systems.  We can also offer rail yard spill cleanup and debris removal (with some restrictions).

Cold Weather Digging
  • Our Vac-Con® trucks come equipped with an onboard boiler that maintains a water temperature of 150° C - we can excavate frozen ground in most winter conditions.

 

Subsurface Utility Engineering
  • Our hydro excavation service provides an accurate way to measure the exact depth and location of underground utilities.

Access for CC repairs

  • Hydro excavation makes it is simple and quick for us to create a small 8" to 10" opening in the soil for fast repair of CC valves.

Servicing Remote Locations
  • We can service remote locations that are not commonly accessible by regualr cleaning trucks.  We can flush and clean almost any area that requires access by rail or LRT.
